Leaders of the Taliban terrorist movement (banned in Russia) have decided to conduct a military operation against the Afghan Resistance Front in Panjshir Province.

The decision was made after failed negotiations with the leader of the resistance movement and the son of the head of the Northern Alliance Ahmad Massoud.

Panjshir Province remains the only province in Afghanistan not controlled by the Taliban, Al-Jazeera reports.
