A 19-year-old citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan was charged in the Altai Territory with financing terrorism in the amount of 10 thousand rubles, the regional Investigative Committee reports.

“In March 2024, in this region, the defendant, using a popular messenger, contacted his compatriot who supported the illegal activities of a foreign terrorist organization," the Committee said.

After a short conversation, the young man transferred the money to the needs of the terrorists. He is currently in custody. The crime was discovered by officers of the FSB Directorate for the Altai Territory.
