The Southern District Military Court sentenced two residents of Dagestan who were found guilty of participating in and financing the activities of a foreign terrorist organization banned in Russia. This was reported by the court's press service.

The court sentenced one of the defendants to imprisonment for a term of 9 years and 1 month and another one to 13 years.

According to the investigation, in 2021, while residing in the Republic of Dagestan, Bulatov decided to join Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, a banned foreign terrorist organization. Starting in April 2022, he began communicating with Nurmagomedov and other people, trying to convince them to join the terrorist group.

Nurmagomedov later gave Bulatov money and the latter transferred  it to a wallet provided by a member of the abovementioned terrorist organization.
