The Central District Military Court of Yekaterinburg has sentenced a 28-year-old resident of Kazan. He was found guilty of supporting terrorist activity, Tatar-inform reports, citing the press service of the UFSB for the Republic of Tatarstan.

The court established that from April to May 2019, the man ten times transferred money to support militants of foreign terrorist organizations.

A criminal case was opened against the Kazan resident. As a result, he was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment, with the first 5 years to be served in prison, and the remainder of the sentence to be spent in a maximum security penal colony.

The terrorist group in question had not been disclosed.
