Three soldiers killed in ISIS attack in Iraq

Three servicemen were killed and several more were injured in an attack by Islamic State militants in Iraq, the Directorate 4 Telegram channel reports.

The incident occurred near the city of Tuz Khurmatu in Saladin Governorate. The terrorists detonated an IED on the route of an Iraqi convoy. The explosion tore one of the vehicles apart. The victims include two colonels.

The servicemen were heading to the site of an attack by the US-led international coalition on an ISIS hideout to gather information on the number of militants eliminated.
