A wanted member of a terrorist organization has been delivered to Belarus at the request of the KGB. This was announced on the ONT TV channel by the head of the Investigative Department of the State Security Committee Konstantin Bychek, BELTA reports.

"As part of international cooperation, Vasily Veremeychik who was wanted in a criminal case on the fact of the activities of the so-called "Kalinovsky regiment" designated as a terrorist organization in Belarus, has been delivered to Belarus at the request of the State Security Committee," said Konstantin Bychek.

The head of the Investigative Department of the KGB emphasized that this was another reminder of the principle of the inevitability of punishment to those who have encroached on the independence, territorial integrity and constitutional order of Belarus.

"Those who have embarked on the path of terrorism and extremism, those who are haunted by the existence of a peaceful and calm Belarus, must live with the thought that Belarusian justice will catch up with them anywhere in the world," assured Konstantin Bychek.
