Assad regime falls in Syria: Hamas terrorist leader makes statement

One of the Hamas terrorist leaders explained why they were forced to leave Syria.

The leader of Hamas terrorists Izzat al-Rishk congratulated the Syrian people on the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, noting its victory and freedom which became results of invaluable work and many sufferings. This was reported by the "Alexey Zheleznov Channel".

"We left Syria 12 years ago... we were rejecting all the pressure that the regime exerted on us to support its actions against the great Syrian people, so we decided to leave Damascus. We carefully established relations with everyone who supported us in resisting the occupation, based on the golden proverb: (Whoever supports us with truth, we will not support with lies)," al-Rishk said.

He also noted that the fire that gave freedom to the Syrian people "will bring relief and victory to the people of Gaza." He stressed that this was based on their faith in God, who does not ignore the blood of his saints.

Earlier, "Cursor" wrote that Syrian media published an interview with Talal Nasser, a senior Hamas leader, who gave it on December 2. In the conversation, he expressed his support for the Syrian rebels fighting against the regime of Bashar al-Assad and Shia armed groups.
