The United States started negotiations with the Taliban to release their citizens in exchange for a prisoner believed to be linked to former al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The talks concern the release of George Glezmann, Ryan Corbett and Mahmoud Habibi.
