The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced in a statement that its military task forces carried out a security operation in the city of Qamishlo, eliminating an ISIS mercenary cell and arresting two of its members.

The operation was carried out after their forces completed investigation operations and collected information about the cell, and were able to identify its hideout. They raided the hideout of the cell and arrested two of its members, terrorists Osama Muhammad al-Ahmad and Issa Muhammad al-Ahmad.

The terrorists planned to carry out terrorist operations in the city by planting explosive devices, targeting public and private places, spreading terrorism and causing chaos and confusion among the people.
