Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council. This was reported by the Kremlin.

"One of the aspects of work in the field of combating terrorism was discussed. The presentation was made by the Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov," the statement said.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu, presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and others.
