More atrocities by HTS militants documented in Syria
The representatives of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham invited the head of the administration of the settlement of Jafariat in Homs governorate to a meeting to document his status and continue its work. Instead of talking, the terrorists shot the man and two accompanying people, the Directorate 4 Telegram channel reports.
In the same governorate, militants broke into two settlements for so-called “cleansing” and kidnapped several dozen Alawite representatives. Later, thirteen of them were found dead. The fate of the rest of the kidnapped is unknown.
Also in Homs, militants kidnapped a pregnant Christian woman who was married to a wealthy man. The terrorists sent him a photo of his wife and demanded a ransom of $40,000. As the militants had not received money, they shot the girl. Her body was found along with another murdered woman, who has not yet been identified.
A video recording from a terrorist's camera during the active offensive of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and its allied groups in the Aleppo province was published online. The footage shows the murder of an unarmed man. HTS resources stated that the murdered person was Brigadier General Muhammad Khaluf, responsible for "torturing Muslims." However, as it turned out later, the deceased was an ordinary worker who resigned from the police in 2013 due to disagreements with the management. Judging by the announcement on social media, his relatives were actively looking for him.
Since the beginning of 2025, 50 murders have been recorded in the territories controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, for which the militants are blamed.
