Udmurtia FSB officers detained a resident of Mozhga. The man, who had previously served a sentence in the IK-1 penal colony, was spreading dangerous ideas among prisoners: he justified terrorist attacks in Russia and called on convicts to commit violence against law enforcement officers. This was reported by the press service of the Udmurtia FSB.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee under two articles: "Public calls for terrorist activity" and "Public calls for extremist activity." He is currently in a temporary detention facility. He faces up to 5 years in prison for the crimes he committed.

Investigative actions are ongoing. Law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances of the case in order to identify possible accomplices and prevent the spread of extremist naratives.
