A 15-year-old teenager fr om Voronezh may face ten years in prison due to a closed Telegram channel wh ere he expressed admiration for "school shooters." This was reported by Baza.

The ninth-grader published posts about the famous "school shooters" in his channel, and shared his thoughts that looked diary entries, and hinted at actions that he may have been planning against his school. A criminal case has been opened against the young man under the article on supporting the activities of a terrorist organization. According to lawyer Alexander Matytsin, his client is currently in a pretrial detention center and could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

The parents of the teenager's classmates spoke out in his defense, creating a petition and an appeal to the leadership of the Investigative Committee. The boy's relatives claim that he never displayed aggression, did not participate in conflicts with peers and did not show any cruelty. The news agency points out that the channel was created only because he strived to stand out.

However, according to the investigation, the boy had bought a knife on a marketplace shortly before his arrest. However, his relatives claim that he only needed it to show off to his classmates, who had similar knives. After that he was going to give the knife to his father.
