Seven terrorists eliminated in northwest Pakistan

Seven militants were killed in two operations by the Pakistani army in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As reported by Caliber.Az with reference to foreign media, this was stated in a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which acts as the press service of the Pakistani army.

Thus, the operations were launched yesterday morning and lasted for two days. As part of the operation in Dera Ismail Khan, three militants, including a key radical, were killed, and  two others were injured.

According to the ISPR, security forces killed four militants in a firefight, and three were injured during a separate operation in the North Waziristan agency. The statement also said that security forces were conducting further search and sweep operations in the areas to eliminate the remaining militants.
