The identity of a suspect in justification of terrorism has been established in the Smolensk region of Russia.

It was found out that earlier, a 46-year-old resident of the Rudnyansky district posted a video and a comment under it on his social media profile, visible to any user, where he publicly justified terrorism and called for these prohibited activities.

– A criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 “Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism,” the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Smolensk region reported.

Presently, the man has already been transferred to investigative bodies for further investigation.
