COURT SENTENCED A TEACHER FROM KRASNOYARSK TO 10 YEARS IN COLONY FOR TERRORISM PROPAGANDA

The Southern District Military Court sentenced a teacher of Muslim law of a Sunday school in Krasnoyarsk to 10 years in prison for publicly calling for terrorism and trying to involve citizens in terrorist activities. This was stated in the message of the regional FSB department.

The man distributed videos on VKontakte network justifying the actions of Daesh terrorist organization (banned in the Russian Federation), and tried to persuade school parishioners to participate in hostilities in Syria on the side of the militants.
