A VOLGOGRAD RESIDENT SENT TO A COLONY FOR SUPPORTING TERRORISM

A resident of the Volgograd region of Russia was sentenced to 8.5 years in a strict regime colony for transferring money to one of the Syrian terrorists. It was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the regional FSB department.

As it became known, the FSB officers established that the man sent money to one of the members of the Hayat Tahrir Ash-Sham terrorist group (banned in the Russian Federation), who during that time was in Syria.
