In 2024, more than 3,000 people were put on the list of terrorists and extremists, the so-called blacklist of Rosfinmonitoring. About two thousand of them were involved in terrorism, the press service of Rosfinmonitoring reported.

“3,165 individuals were included. 2,248 of them were involved in terrorism and 917 are the people who committed extremist crimes,” RIA Novosti quotes the agency’s message.

The list contains organizations and individuals who are known to be involved in extremist or terrorist activities. It is open and published on the Rosfinmonitoring website. Those on the list have all bank accounts blocked, they cannot dispose of property or spend more than 10 thousand rubles per month per family member (excluding taxes and utility bills).

The list includes suspects and defendants under extremist or terrorist articles, as well as those sentenced by the court under the relevant articles. There is a decision of the Prosecutor General or the Tax Service to suspend activities (for legal entities). At the end of 2024, there were 619 legal entities and 16,056 individuals on the list.
