The "new authorities" of Syria have established a special committee that will prepare for the conducting the so-called Syrian National Dialogue conference in the country. This was reported by the Syria TV channel, citing sources.

According to their information, the committee includes seven people, among them two women. Additional details have not yet been disclosed.

At the same time, Israel's army radio reported that Israel's presence in Syria is no longer temporary, and nine military facilities are being built in the security zone. It also reported that the army plans to remain in Syria throughout the current year, and that three brigades are operating there, compared to one and a half battalions before October 7.
