Seven terrorists were eliminated in operations in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Security forces carried out two separate operations in the province's Dera Ismail Khan area over the alleged presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, indicated in a statement.

The terrorist positions were effectively destroyed during the operations, the ISPR said, adding that a total of seven terrorists were eliminated at two different locations.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists, the ISPR said.
