In Naberezhnye Chelny, officers of the FSB Directorate for Tatarstan detained a man suspected of aiding terrorists.

According to the investigation, he regularly transferred money to members of a foreign terrorist organization in the period from from March to May 2024.

A criminal case has been opened against the man under the article on assisting terrorist activity. The man faces 8 to 15 years in prison, as well as a fine of up to 700 thousand rubles.
