In Ingushetia, FSB officers put an end to the activities of two terrorists. Azamat Gandaloev and Zurab Daurbekov were detained.

They studied at one of the religious-extremist educational institutions in Egypt, EADaily reports. Upon returning to Ingushetia, with the mediation of members of the gang group of Amirkhan Gurazhev, they took the pledge (bayat) and joined the ranks of Islamic State FTO, which is banned in Russia. According to the FSB, their foreign curators planned to use them to commit terrorist attacks in Russia.

Gandaloev and Daurbekov were detained under Articles 91 and 92 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and placed in a temporary detention facility. It is being decided whether criminal cases should be initiated under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of the activities of a terrorist organization and participation in the activities of such an organization").

The suspects face up to 20 years in prison.
