Indian security forces have prevented a terrorist attack at Uttar Pradesh largest Hindu temple, Ram Janmabhoomi, NDTV reports.

Law enforcement officers detained 19-year-old Abdul Rehman. According to the TV channel, the man was planning to detonate at least two hand grenades in the temple.

The court has put suspect in custody for ten days.
