ISIS member wanted by Interpol detained in Turkey

 A man wanted by Interpol as a member of the ISIS terrorist group was detained in Sanliurfa, TRT Haber reports.


The provincial police reported that measures were taken to capture suspects as part of countering terrorism.


As a result of operational work, citizen M., who was wanted by Interpol on charges of involvement in ISIS armed terrorist organization, was detained.


The police officers established the address where the suspect was hiding and carried out an operation to detain him.


After the investigation at the police department, M.A. was handed over to immigration officers for deportation.
