A criminal case has been launched in Orsk against a local resident who posted a text on Telegram publicly calling for terrorism.

He is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Orenburg Region stated.

It is unknown whether the author of the text was the administrator of the Telegram channel, but the police had previously reported this. It was reported that the Telegram channel was distributing information about terrorist attacks in Orenburg schools. The next day, a video allegedly showing an armed attack on one of the schools in Orenburg started circulating on social media. Ural56.Ru officially denied the information contained in the post.
