A 32-year-old active member of Jamaat Tawhid wa Jihad foreign terrorist organization, who was wanted internationally, has been detained outside Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the 24.kg agency with reference to the press center of the State Committee for National Security.

The wanted man was brought to the Kyrgyz Republic by plane on March 8. It was established that 32-year-old D.K.Z., a native of the Osh region, underwent sabotage and terrorist training in Syria and participated in military operations against the government forces of the Syrian Arab Republic. The man was placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security.

Special services are conducting appropriate operational measures to identify other members of foreign terrorist organizations who are natives of Kyrgyzstan.
