KHABAROVSK COURT SENTENCED A TERRORIST SUPPORTER TO NINE YEARS IN JAIL
A court In Khabarovsk sentenced an accomplice of the Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham foreign terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation to nine years in prison, the press service of the regional department of the Russian FSB reported.
According to the agency, Yuldashev was financing the terrorists and collecting the necessary information. He also transferred his account in one of the messengers to other members of the organization so that they could spread calls for terrorist activities and justify terrorism. Criminal cases were initiated against him under Article 205.1 (“Assistance to Terrorist Activities”) and Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Participation in the Activities of an Organization that, in Accordance with the Legislation of the Russian Federation, is Designated as Terrorist”).
In addition, during the investigation of Yuldashev's crimes, his compatriots were identified, who knew about his activities, but did not report to law enforcement agencies. They were fined.
