A Terrorist Suspect Detained in Tatarstan

Staff members of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tatarstan detained a man who planned to travel to Syria to participate in hostilities on the side of a terrorist organization banned in Russia.

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the regional FSB department. It was mentioned that the detainee is 21 years old. A criminal case has been initiated and the suspect pleaded guilty.
