On 17 April, the Supreme Court of Russia will consider an application filed by the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia to suspend the ban on the Taliban movement's activities in Russia.

According to RIA Novosti, citing the court's press service, the hearing will be held in closed mode.

In late January, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the process of removing the Taliban from the list of terrorists had begun.
