Russian military bases in Syria remain, Moscow continues dialogue with the “transitional” government, stated the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Security Council Vasily Nebenzya.

Russian military in Syria remains in place, the Khmeimim airbase and the logistics center in Tartus continue to operate. As Nebenzya explained, at this moment, dialogue is underway, the parties plan to come to a solution that suits everyone. No one knows yet what this will look like, but the negotiations continue.
