Pakistani security forces eliminated six militants linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The operations took place in North and South Waziristan districts, areas bordering Afghanistan where extremist groups are regularly active, ISPR, media and public relations wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, told DAWN. The operations by Pakistani security forces took place over the last two days.

ISPR added that sweeping operations were underway to eliminate any other terrorists found in these areas.
