Eleven Terrorists Killed in Military Operation in Northwest Pakistan

Eleven terrorists were killed when the Pakistani army conducted an operation in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. A military statement disclosing this information was published on Thursday.

The statement said that the security forces conducted the operation by acting on an intelligence tip-off regarding the presence of the militants in South Waziristan district.

The militants were planning a large scale terrorist activity, which was successfully foiled by the army, the statement added.

"Huge quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists," the statement said.
