A total of 105 suspects were detained in operations against the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organisation in 23 provinces, TRT news agency quoted Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya as saying.

He said the anti-ISIS operation was held in 23 provinces by police departments and gendarmerie commands under the coordination of the Prosecutor General of the Republic, the General Command of Gendarmerie and the General Directorate of Police.

Yerlikaya said 105 suspects were detained during the operations. The suspects were identified as members of ISIS. They financed the terrorist organisation and distributed ISIS narratives using their social media accounts. A lot of organisational documents and digital materials were also seized.
