Three people - Khagani Omarov, Anar Salamzade and Elchin Azizov - have been prosecuted in Azerbaijan on charges of financing terrorism.

Trend reported on Tuesday that the suspects were detained as a result of operational activities carried out by the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan.

During the investigation, it was established that the suspects transferred money to certain persons operating abroad to support terrorist activities.
