Pakistan to cancel all deals if Taliban are passive in countering terrorism

Pakistan will terminate “all deals” with Afghanistan if Taliban representatives do not act on Islamabad's growing concern over terrorist threats emanating from the neighbouring country. Muhammad Sadiq, Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan, said during a workshop at the Institute of Policy Studies in Islamabad, Dawn newspaper reported.

“Pakistan's Taliban movement is a challenge, a big challenge for us. It cannot be tolerated because our young children are being killed every day. In certain neighbourhoods, deaths due to attacks have become commonplace. Ignoring this is also a kind of crime,” Sadiq said. - Afghanistan will have to work with us on this topic. If they do mot cooperate, all deals will be cancelled. There will be no further progress on any issue.”
