Two terrorists eliminated in military operation in southeast Pakistan

The Inter-Services Intelligence Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement that security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Buled area based on reports about the presence of terrorists.

The ISPR said that during the operation the troops effectively attacked the terrorists' positions and killed two terrorists after an intense exchange of fire.

“The eliminated terrorists were actively involved in numerous terrorist attacks in the region against law enforcement agencies as well as innocent civilians,” the military added.

A sweeping operation is currently underway in the region to eliminate the remaining terrorists, the statement said.
