The First Department for Investigation of Especially Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia has launched a criminal case against a 17-year-old resident of Abakan who is suspected of public propaganda of terrorism.

In December 2024 he posted video clips containing propaganda of the activities of a terrorist organisation banned in our country by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in the social media also banned in the Russian Federation

The suspect is detained and it is being decided how to restrain him. He faces a fine of 300,000 to 1 million roubles, as well as imprisonment for 5 to 7 years.
