In Russian city of Tomsk, police officers detained a 52-year-old man for calling for terrorism. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tomsk region on Wednesday, April 23.

The law enforcement agency indicated that the attacker published a comment that contained calls for violence against the authorities on social media. The post he commented on was in the public domain.

The regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against the Tomsk resident based on the materials collected by the police. The investigation is currently underway.
