Clashes are ongoing in the town of Ashrafieh-Sahna, south of Damascus. An evacuation has been ordered from the town which has a population of 1.5 million.

It is reported that Israeli Druze have crossed the border and are participating in the fighting. They are being supported by Israeli aircraft, which are striking convoys of vehicles and hiding militants.
