According to the TV channel, US-led international coalition forces continue to withdraw their equipment from eastern Syria as part of an evacuation and redeployment operation aimed at reducing their presence in certain military locations.

In particular, on May 3, coalition forces transported military and logistical equipment from the Shaddadi base in the southern countryside of Hasakah to Iraq.

“At that time, US military aircraft carried out airstrikes on infrastructure around the Al-Omar oil base in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor province, a few days after part of the base was evacuated,” the report said.

It is also reported that more than 200 pieces of military equipment have been withdrawn from the Koniko and Al-Omar bases in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor to Hasakah governorate.

The US military command in Syria began withdrawing units from a military base near the Koniko gas field in Deir ez-Zor governorate in mid-April.
