A Court in Khabarovsk Sentenced a Foreign Citizen to Eight Years in Prison for Aiding Terrorism

A court in Khabarovsk (Russia) sentenced a citizen of one of the Central Asian countries to 8 years in prison. The convict helped to purchase equipment for Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham (terrorist organization banned in Russia). This was reported by the press service of the FSB of Russia for the Khabarovsk Territory.

The man was found guilty under Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assistance to Terrorist Activities").
