Russian military repelled an attack by four suicide bombers on a military airbase in Syria. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash, which published a video of the shootout.

According to the media, the attack took place early in the morning on May 20, not far from the Khmeimim airbase. The radicals tried to break through the security posts and get into the military facility, but the Russian military stopped them.

As a result of the shootout, three criminals were killed and another escaped. They shot at him with a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, but it is not yet clear whether he was hit.

The identities of the militants have already been established. According to preliminary information, they are all from Uzbekistan and do not recognize the new Syrian government.
