Turkey and the US share a common vision for Syria that can ensure internal security and stability and maintain good neighbourly relations in the region.

This is indicated in a joint statement by Turkey and the US on the results of the meeting of the Turkish-American Working Group on Syria.

The statement notes that the delegations discussed common priorities regarding Syria, including the lifting of sanctions in accordance with President Trump's directive, as well as the joint fight against all forms of terrorism, the statement said.
