According to APA, the final court hearing in the criminal case against Yusif Aliyev, who is accused of financing terrorism and other crimes, took place in a Baku court.

The court sentenced Yusif Aliyev to 13 years in prison.

The charges against Yusif Aliyev state that he created various closed groups on the social media Telegram and WhatsApp, where he collected funds and transferred them abroad to finance a foreign terrorist organization. He was also found guilty of other crimes related to religious radicalism and fanaticism, for which he was brought to criminal responsibility.
