Security forces detained three residents of Arara, including a teenager, who pledged allegiance to ISIS, according to the Telegram channel Directorate 4.

During interrogation, they admitted that they had contacted a jihadist from Syria via TikTok and received from him step-by-step video instructions on how to make IEDs. They managed to assemble two bombs, which they successfully tested, filming the entire process on video. According to the investigation, the detainees were planning terrorist attacks against Israeli police, military personnel, and civilians. One of the suspects said he was ready to carry out a suicide bombing.

Israeli special services have expressed concern about the sharp increase in the number of Islamic State supporters among Israeli Arabs.

According to the Shin Bet internal security agency, security forces have thwarted more than 15 illegal armed groups since the beginning of the year. The vast majority of those detained were young people under the age of 20 who had pledged allegiance to ISIS.
