Five terrorists were killed in two operations carried out in Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan, Xinhua reported, citing military sources.

The operations were carried out in the Loralay and Kech districts of the province, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were found during the operation in Loralay.

The ISPR said that the terrorists were linked to a banned group and had been involved in several terrorist attacks, including lethal ambushes on passenger vehicles on Highway N-70 in the Rarasam area in August 2024 and February 2025, which killed at least 30 civilians.
