FSB officers detained seven members of a cell of a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) banned in Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, who were supervised by an emissary from Poland. The detainees, citizens of a Central Asian country, were spreading terrorist ideology among Muslims and migrants aimed at violently seizing power and creating a so-called global caliphate, as well as recruiting new supporters, according to TASS, citing the Public Relations Center of the Russian FSB.
