In 2022, 21 people renounced extremist ideology in Jalal-Abad region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

“The police held more than 800 meetings with the population as part of the efforts on prevention of crimes related to extremism, terrorism, illegal border crossing and ethnic hatred,” the ministry said.
