Pakistan mosque bomber was disguised as a policeman

A terrorist attack on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan, was carried out by a suicide bomber disguised as a policeman. This was stated by the head of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department Moazzam Jah Ansari, Dawn TV channel reports.

According to Ansari, the police received footage fr om CCTV cameras. “He was in a police uniform, wearing a mask and a helmet,” the head of police said and noted that the police did not check the attacker at the entrance to the station, “because they thought he was one of them.”

The attacker then went inside and spoke to the constable, asking wh ere the mosque was. According to law enforcement officers, this means that the attacker did not know about the area, and “there is a whole network” behind him.

As the channel informed, 12-16 kg of TNT were used for the explosion. According to the latest data, 101 people were killed as a result of the terrorist attack.
