210 terrorists detained in Raqqa, Syria

The Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) troops succeeded in detaining 210 members of the Islamic State extremist organization (banned in the Russian Federation) during the anti-terrorist operation in the city of Raqqa. This was reported by Al-Hadas TV channel.

The operation took several days and was carried out with the assistance of the US-led Western coalition. “SDF special forces discovered underground shelters and passages that were used by militants who infiltrated the city,” TASS said in a statement.

According to the SDF command, stockpiles of weapons and explosives, as well as suicide belts, were seized from the mercenaries.
